So you’re wondering what “Dɛmɛso” means—I’ll be happy to share. In Bambara, dɛmɛn means “support” or “help,” and so means “house” or “home.” Put together, Dɛmɛso translates to “House of Help: Birthing and Beyond.”
For me, this name is more than a translation—it reflects the heart of my work. Birth is not just a moment; it’s a journey that begins in pregnancy and continues long after delivery. My role is to walk with families through that full journey, offering steady support, care, and guidance every step of the way.
Dɛmɛso is also about community. It is a space where families are held, uplifted, and reminded that they are not alone.
